She has a Certificate of Inspection from the US Coast Guard for small commercial vessels, which exceeds the requirements for an uninspected passenger vessel in terms of safety gear.

Empire March is equipped with two 150-horsepower Yamaha engines which are very fuel efficient. She has a cruising speed of 25 mph, making her one of the most enjoyable boats on the water.
